This a a poster that I directed. In this project I had to create an ad that looked like it was made for Target.  I got to have creative liberties throughout this project which meant I got to pick the type of lighting and props I wanted.  I was assigned a specific item to work with and that was fairy lights. I chose a jar as a prop to put the lights in. The Target ads that I researched had bright warm lighting and simple design layouts. In my spare time I like to photograph lots of things (mostly nature), so I was lucky to have some experience with cameras already. I knew to watch for glares on the glass and watch how the shadows where casting on the the fairy lights.
